WCMS Family Event (September 26, 2026)

This fall, wake county physicians and physician assistants are invited to trade the clinic for the countryside. On Saturday, September 26th, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., we'll gather at Holl & Stone Farms in Garner for an afternoon of good conversation, good company, and a welcome change of scenery.

Holl & Stone is a storied centennial farm with roots reaching back to 1878. Beautifully revitalized in 2020 and reopened to the community in 2024, it sits tucked between White Deer and Lake Benson Parks, just fifteen minutes from downtown Raleigh, offering a genuine escape into nature without the long drive.

Our gathering will center on the farm's upstairs mezzanine and relaxing fire pits, where colleagues can enjoy drinks, catch up, and network. The fire pits are ADA accessible. It promises to be a warm and unhurried way to reconnect with one another outside the usual professional settings. Members are welcome to bring a non-member physician or physician assistant as a guest, and families are encouraged to come along and explore everything the farm has to offer.

Meet the alpacas, llamas, and goats, indulge in New Zealand-style soft serve, grab a bite from a local food truck, and browse the farm market throughout the afternoon. A set number of tickets for drinks and/or ice cream will be provided.

Parking is available at the farm and nearby at the Lake Benson and White Deer Parks. Please let us know if you require handicapped parking. Finally, a quick note for those bringing four-legged family members: dogs are welcome around the market area but cannot visit the alpacas and llamas.
