Volunteer Opportunity - Walk with a Doc

Alliance Medical Ministry is seeking physician and healthcare professional volunteers for our upcoming Walk with a Doc event on Saturday, June 27, at 10:00 a.m. at Tarboro Road Community Center in partnership with Raleigh Parks & Recreation.

Walk with a Doc is a community wellness initiative that brings healthcare providers and community members together outside the clinical setting. Each event begins with a brief discussion on a health topic, followed by a relaxed 30-minute walk through the neighborhood.

This is a meaningful opportunity to promote health literacy, encourage healthy lifestyles, and build connections with community members while supporting Live Well Wake's efforts to improve health outcomes and healthcare access across Wake County.

The event lasts approximately one hour, and volunteers are welcome regardless of specialty.
